Desert Shores Salton Sea Restoration.
We banded together with the Bahia del Mar Property Owner's Association, AGESS Inc. and volunteers - and pushed the State and County government to raise funds to refill and restore the Desert Shores keys waterway. Local officials asked the Federal Bureau of Reclamation for $1.25 million That project is underway in engineering and permitting with support from our volunteer teams, the Salton Sea Authority, Imperial County, Bureau of Reclamation and the Cal. Natural Resources Agency, with engineering support by Cal. Poly San Luis Obispo.. GREAT WORK TEAM!

We've had a vision to build a place that forever takes care of the Salton Sea region.
Over the years, we have run two such centers that helped carry the torch for restoration, but never a place that was our own. That belonged to the team and the community to create as we should.
We've aquired the land- a beautiful seaside lot with views that go on for miles over the sea and mountains.
It's an inspiring place that drives us to want to keep this place alive and thriving.
A place where the community, scientists, and creatives can come together around environmental and community restoration. Rejuvenation. Learn more about Desert Shores restoration HERE.

Salton Sea Sustainability.
Installation and refurbishment of the restoration center begins. This build will take approximately 5 months to complete. This location will be used to facilitate restoration workshops, community meetings, and continued ecological education for the Salton Sea Community Members and supporters.
Disclaimer:
We are building this as we go with the resources we can raise.
We have not been through the permitting process yet but it is time to share our vision with the community to help make it a reality.
The final building and center will have some points different than the rendering, and some plans could change.
All funds raised will go to environmental and restoration initiatives at the Salton Sea.
We need your input and support to build something beautiful for the future of this region.
