Desert Shores, Salton Sea California.
Restoring Community and Habitat.
The Desert Shores Restoration Project is a community-led restoration that brings water and life back to a dry canal town on the Northwest Shore of California's Salton Sea.
We are working in collaboration with a volunteer group organized through the Community Engineering Corps (COE) out of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to create preliminary designs and survey work to help public agencies execute the build of the berm and refilling of Desert Shores.
The COE is a volunteer group that puts students together with professional engineers to help small communities design and implement projects for water quality and other community benefits.

* Se crea y mantiene un hábitat de alta calidad.
* El proyecto se puede escalar y duplicar en otras ubicaciones de la costa.
